My name is Mandy Soto. I grew up in Indianapolis and my family moved to California when I was in high school, which is where I met my wonderful husband of almost 15 years. We have two beautiful children. A daughter, Madelyn Jane, who is 10 and a son, Trystan Jacob, who is 13. This is where the name "Jake and Jane" came from. It is their middle names. They are really what sparked my love of photography so why not name my business after them right? That's how I felt. I started my journey in photography working for a company called Lifetouch Preschool Portraits. I worked solely with children. I have been praised by almost all of my clients for having a lot of patience. I believe Lifetouch is the reason for this. Having to work with, on average, 50-60 children under the age of 5 every day for 5 years. You learn to play and have fun with the kids, that's really what it's all about. I"m capturing you and your family at this time in your life, I want you to be relaxed and having fun. This is definetely a goal of mine during every shoot. What I love most about photography are the people I get to meet and the stories I get to tell in my images.These are memories that will last forever, I love that I can help with that.
